Claude Code kept ignoring our MCP tools, so we used hooks instead

Graft is an open-source tool that uses Claude Code hooks as an alternative to MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools for integrating AI workflows. It was developed after MCP tool calls were being ignored by Claude Code, prompting a hooks-based approach instead.
